How to Adjust Diesel Generator PT Fuel Pump
Generator PT pump diesel system's main features are: in PT diesel system, diesel production pressure, timing distribution and fuel volume regulation are carried out in the fuel pump and injector; in the diesel fuel pump and injector diesel system, diesel fuel produces high-pressure, time distribution and diesel fuel control in the fuel pump and injector, they enter the injector diesel fuel is only 20% of the injection into the combustion chamber, and the rest of the cooling and lubrication back to the fuel tank. Because there is only one PT fuel pump in the diesel system to output low-pressure oil without high-pressure fuel pipe, there is no problem of pressure wave at high speeds, and the injector piston downstream speed, the nozzle size is large, and the maximum injection pressure of 100mpa, which is conducive to diesel fuel atomization, combustion efficiency is sufficient, less sewage, good performance; when the diesel engine stops, it uses a shut-off valve to shut down the oil circuit to cut off the flow of oil.
According to the engine state, parasitic load and instrument accuracy and other factors, the diesel generator PT fuel pump is calibrated on site. dǐng-bó electric-power is organized as follows according to the speed of different working conditions and correction methods:
1. Idling speed
Diesel engine running conditions, all the air in the oil circuit is excluded, the diesel engine reaches the operating temperature; screw the plug to the PT-G two-stage governor spring assembly under the cover; adjust the idle speed, adjusting the screw to increase the idle speed, adjusting the screw to reduce the idle speed; idle speed adjusted, return to the screw plug. For PT fuel pumps equipped with MVS full-speed regulators, the maximum speed and idle speed correction screws are located on the governor cover; tighten the screws immediately after repair to prevent room air from entering the fuel pump.
For each series of diesel engines, the factory recommends an idle speed which allows for reasonable variation. If it is too large, it is difficult to register, and if it is too low, it can easily stall. If the idle speed is erratic, which is related to the governor plunger, the fly hammer booster piston should be checked for protrusion.
2. Maximum speed
Maximum speed is usually calibrated on the PT fuel pump's test bench and is usually used to increase or decrease the speed of the governor high speed spring washer. There is no need to change it if it has already been raised on the test bench. The maximum no-load speed for the field inspection method is: leave the transmission in neutral or the clutch in disengagement, open the throttle and hold it in the fully open position, at which time the maximum speed of the diesel engine should be 10-12% higher than the governor disconnect point; when this speed exceeds the specified value, parts of the governor assembly should be inspected or checked.
3. Governor breaking point speed
When the throttle valve is fully open, increase the load until the speed drops to at least 100r/rev below the rated speed, and then slowly reduce the load, and at the same time pay attention to the diesel fuel outlet pressure gauge, (along with the reduction of the load, the diesel fuel outlet pressure will increase until the governor has been restricted to supply fuel, and then as the load is reduced, the diesel fuel outlet pressure will begin to fall), the breaking point, which is the governor at this speed before than the rated RPM diesel engine will not act as a restriction (e.g., at a diesel engine speed of 2100 RPM, the governor will have a break point of 2120-2140 revolutions per minute). Breakpoint speed is higher or lower than the specified value, if the governor is being reduced or increased accordingly shims from the governor behind the high-speed spring adjustment, until immediately check the governor's breakpoint in line with the specified value.
