Inspection and repair of nozzle head
(1) Check the nozzle hole and nozzle head end of the injector with a magnifying glass, and make it compare with the new nozzle head. If the nozzle head has one of the following conditions should be scrapped: (1) abrasive wear, this wear will occur in the inside of the nozzle head, therefore, the inspection should be carried out on both the inside and outside. (2) Corrosion, ablative damage and overheating phenomenon, this situation is usually due to the high content of water, acid and sulfur in the fuel or caused by overload work. (3) The expansion or deformation of the jet hole is caused by the use of drill or other tools to clean the jet hole and the use of too long. Note that the size of the nozzle nozzle must not be changed.
(2) Check the shape of the plunger contact surface on the nozzle head. Choose a new plunger and paint it Prussian blue. Insert plunger into nozzle head and turn 90°. The nozzle can be reused if the plunger contact surface is continuous and takes up 40% of the area around the nozzle head cone or plunger hole. At the same time, the plunger must be in contact with the cone area l/4 of the nozzle head to the whole cone area. The nozzle head whose contact surface is less than 1/4 of the end area of the nozzle head cannot be used. If the contact surface of the nozzle head is at the end, its contact area must be greater than 1/2 the area of the cone. A tester should be used to check the oil leakage of the nozzle and plunger.
