    Reasons for the decrease in service life of common rail injectors

    (1) During the repair process of the fuel injector, the oil inlet filter at the position of the oil inlet joint has not been replaced, and it is difficult to clean the impurities and dirt accumulated here, and the carbon deposit inside the nozzle is also difficult to clean. During the repair and use, these impurities and dirt are easy to come out to block the small holes and accelerate the wear of the internal moving parts of the injector (as shown in Figure 3). When the particles block the oil inlet hole of the valve seat, when the valve ball is closed, the high-pressure fuel cannot enter the control chamber smoothly, resulting in the failure of the valve stem to fall, resulting in direct injection of the injector.     (2) The car owner added inferior diesel (containing sulfur and water) to affect the service life of the fuel injector. The sulfur in the oil is easy to oxidize when the temperature is high, which greatly increases the corrosion of diesel and accelerates the internal moving parts of the fuel injector. Wear and tear, and the water in the oil has more dissolved gas inside.
