Key Points of Fuel Injector Installation Technology
Things to pay attention to when installing the fuel injector: 1) Comprehensively check whether all parts of the fuel injector are cleaned. (2) Check whether the step of the fastening nut of the fuel injector produces a slip angle. If there is a slip angle on the step, the compression nut will not work! It will cause the needle valve to be stuck and unable to move. Therefore, when changing to a new fuel injector, the state of the pressure cap must be checked, and the pressure cap that has been deformed for a long time must be replaced. When installing the pressure cap, the tightening torque should be appropriate, generally 60~80 N·m is appropriate. Do not use too much force, otherwise the injector may be easily damaged. When you continue to use the old pressure cap, you must carefully remove the carbon deposits in its inner cavity, otherwise, it is easy to make the injector body skew and deform, resulting in inflexible needle valve movement and affecting the spray quality. (3) For fuel injectors that have been used for a long time, due to the long-term impact and wear of the needle valve tail of the fuel injector on the end face of the fuel injector body, pits are generated, which increases the lift of the needle valve (the normal value is 0.35~ 0.45 mm) will affect the fuel injection, then the method of grinding can be used to eliminate the wear marks. When grinding, grind the contact surface of the injector body on the flat glass with fine grinding paste, the center line of the injector body should be perpendicular to the plane of the flat glass. In addition, check the small steel ball in the concave position at the lower end of the ejector rod. Reinstall a steel ball with a diameter of 1 mm. At the same time, when assembling the fuel injector, the pressure regulating spring should be released to a free state first, so as to avoid pressing the needle valve in advance before installing the fuel injector, making it improperly installed and affecting the work.
