Characteristics of isovolumetric delivery valve
Its characteristics are that the sealing cone is at the lower end and the delivery valve has a small volume. It is composed of delivery valve seat, delivery valve and spring and other parts. Its working process is as follows: after the plunger presses the oil, the delivery valve opens from the seat surface until the control edge of the delivery valve opens the side hole on the valve seat, and the fuel begins to enter the high-pressure oil pipe. When the oil supply stops, the delivery valve begins to drop. When the control edge of the valve completely closes the side oil hole, the return oil passage is cut off, and the unloading action of the delivery valve begins, and then until it is seated, the unloading action ends, and its unloading stroke is h.
The advantage of this delivery valve is that the entire assembly is easy to replace, and the delivery valve is cushioned when it is seated without impact, so it has little wear and a long service life. This delivery valve is used on P7, P9 and FM reinforced fuel injection pumps.
It is another delivery valve with a sealing cone down. When this type of delivery valve is seated, after the pressure relief flange enters the guide hole, a portion of fuel equivalent to the unloading volume accumulates under the unloading flange and needs to be discharged through the oil hole under the seat surface. The throttling effect of the oil hole slows down the impact speed and impact force of the delivery valve on the seat surface. When the delivery valve is completely closed, the fuel pressure in the plunger cavity only acts on the area determined by the average diameter of the sealing cone surface. This structure increases the opening pressure and opening speed of the delivery valve. It is generally used in the injection pump of medium-speed diesel engines.
