    How to judge whether the control signal of the injector solenoid valve is normal?

    Detection with professional equipment
    Oscilloscope detection
    Operation method: Connect the oscilloscope probe to the control line of the injector solenoid valve, start the engine, and observe the injector drive waveform on the oscilloscope.
    Normal waveform characteristics: The normal waveform is usually a pulse signal with a specific width and amplitude. The pulse width corresponds to the opening time of the injector, and the amplitude represents the voltage strength of the control signal. The waveform parameters of different models will vary, but generally speaking, the pulse width will change with the engine working conditions, such as widening at high load to increase the injection amount; the amplitude is usually stable near the standard voltage of the vehicle.
    Abnormal judgment: If the waveform is deformed, the amplitude is unstable, and the pulse width does not meet the engine working conditions, it indicates that there is a problem with the control signal.

    Fault diagnosis instrument detection
    Operation method: Connect the fault diagnosis instrument to the vehicle's diagnostic interface to read the relevant data and fault code of the injector.
    Data reading and analysis: The fault diagnosis instrument can display the working parameters of the injector, such as injection pulse width, injection time, etc. Compare these data with the standard value. If the deviation is too large, it means that the control signal may be abnormal. In addition, if the diagnostic instrument displays a fault code related to the injector, it also indicates that there is a fault in the control signal or the injector itself.

    Judging based on working conditions
    Engine start-up
    Normal start-up performance: When the engine starts, the injector solenoid valve should be able to receive the control signal in time and inject fuel normally. If the engine is difficult to start and can only be started successfully after multiple starts, or the operation is unstable after starting, it may be that the injector solenoid valve control signal is not issued at the correct time or with the appropriate intensity, resulting in insufficient fuel injection or inaccurate injection timing.
    Abnormal start-up performance: For example, there is obvious shaking and blasting sound during starting, which may also be caused by abnormal control signal causing fuel injection disorder.

    Engine operation stability
    Normal operating status: The engine should run smoothly under different working conditions such as idling, acceleration, and deceleration. If there is shaking or setbacks during operation, it may be that the control signal of the injector solenoid valve is discontinuous or unstable, resulting in abnormal fuel injection in individual cylinders.
    Abnormal operating status: For example, insufficient power during acceleration may be caused by the control signal not properly increasing the injection pulse width according to the increase in engine load, resulting in insufficient fuel supply.

    Use the replacement method to judge
    Operation method: If you suspect that there is a problem with the control signal of a certain injector solenoid valve, you can swap the injector with the injector of another normally working cylinder.
    Result analysis: After the swap, if the fault is transferred to another cylinder, it means that the original injector itself is normal, and the fault may be in the control signal circuit or control unit; if the fault still exists, it may be that the injector itself is damaged.
