Correct Maintenance Of Fuel Injection Pump
The fuel injection pump is the "heart" of the diesel engine, so the fuel injection pump must be properly maintained.
1. When installing the fuel injection pump on the diesel engine, the fuel supply advance angle must be checked and adjusted; after the diesel engine has been running for 500 hours, the fuel supply advance angle must be rechecked and adjusted.
2. Light diesel that meets national standards must be used, and the diesel must be filtered for 48 to 96 hours.
3. Pay attention to cleaning the diesel tank and diesel filter at ordinary times.
4. Check the engine oil in the governor every day, and add it in time if it is insufficient.
5. If there is a skeleton oil seal between the fuel injection pump and the governor, add engine oil separately.
6. If the engine oil level rises due to oil dilution, it means that the fuel injection pump and the oil delivery pump are seriously leaking, which should be eliminated in time.
7. After the diesel engine has been running for 100 hours, the engine oil must be replaced and the oil delivery pump filter must be cleaned.
8. The fuel injection pump must not be disassembled or adjusted at will, especially the parts with seals. If disassembly and maintenance are necessary, the place should be cleaned before proceeding.
9. After every 2000 hours of operation, the fuel injection pump should be fully disassembled and inspected, and the severely worn and damaged parts should be replaced or repaired, and re-debugged.
10. When the locomotive is not used for a long time, the fuel injection pump oil channel should be filled with diesel. If the fuel injection pump is to be disassembled, after adding anti-rust oil to the oil channel, it should be stored in a dry place and should not be stored together with batteries, acids, alkalis, etc.; if the fuel injection pump is to be reassembled for use, the anti-rust oil should be removed before use.
