What are the common faults of oil pump solenoid valves?
In addition to the solenoid valve coil failure, valve core stuck, and poor sealing mentioned above, common faults of the fuel pump solenoid valve also include the following:
Loose plug or poor contact: The vibration during long-term driving of the vehicle may cause the plug of the fuel pump solenoid valve to loosen, or the metal sheet inside the plug may oxidize and deform, resulting in poor contact. This will make the electrical signal received by the solenoid valve unstable, resulting in abnormal operation of the fuel pump, and the engine may have intermittent jitter, poor acceleration and other problems.
Electromagnetic interference: There are many electrical devices inside the car, such as the ignition system, generator, etc. These devices may generate electromagnetic interference when working. If the anti-interference ability of the fuel pump solenoid valve is insufficient, its control signal may be interfered, thereby affecting the normal operation of the solenoid valve, causing the operation of the fuel pump to be disordered, and causing the engine performance to decline.
Spring failure: The spring in the fuel pump solenoid valve is used to return the valve core to the initial position when there is no electromagnetic force. If the spring is fatigued, deformed or broken, the valve core cannot be reset normally, which in turn affects the control of the solenoid valve on the fuel pump, and may cause unstable fuel pressure, non-operation of the fuel pump and other faults.
