The Main Reasons For The High Engine Water Temperature Caused By The Heat Source Of The Diesel Engine
There are three main reasons why the diesel engine heat source causes the engine water temperature to be high:
1. Injection failure. ① When the injection time is too late, it will cause the combustion in the cylinder to be delayed, and the exhaust gas will be retained, resulting in high temperature. ② When one or more injectors are damaged, the ECM engine control computer adjusts the injection amount of each injector, and the engine load increases, which will also cause the engine water temperature to be high.
2. Poor lubrication of the engine lubrication system. The oil circuit of the engine lubrication system is blocked or the engine oil is insufficient, which will cause insufficient lubrication of the mechanical transmission part. At the same time, the cooling effect of the lubricating oil on the engine is reduced, resulting in high engine water temperature. The engine oil is not suitable, which affects the lubrication effect and also causes high engine water temperature.
3. Exhaust gas influence. The exhaust back pressure increases, the exhaust resistance increases, the exhaust gas cannot be completely discharged, and some exhaust gas is retained in the cylinder, causing the temperature to be too high. The occurrence of this fault will be accompanied by a significant decrease in power performance. The leakage of the muffler causes the cooling air temperature to be high, which affects the engine heat exchange and also causes the engine water temperature to be high.
In addition, factors such as poor cooling of the turbocharger and wear of engine components may cause the engine water temperature to be too high. Also check whether it is a false alarm and check whether the temperature of the upper water pipe of the engine water pump is consistent with the temperature displayed on the display.
