Disassembly and Inspection of Injector Head and Grinding Repair Skills of Needle Valve Coupling (part 2)
Through the repair of the fuel injection needle valve assembly and the introduction of some special tools and usage methods, the management personnel can timely and accurately carry out temporary maintenance once the fuel injection needle valve assembly is found to be faulty during work, achieving twice the result with half the effort effect to ensure the normal operation of the device.
Here we only focus on the repair and maintenance process for the injector needle valve couple.
1 Dismantling and inspection process of the injector needle valve assembly
1.1 Cleaning
Soak the needle valve assembly to be repaired in light diesel oil for several hours, then take it out, and brush the surface with a thin copper wire to remove rust, oil and carbon deposits.
1.2 Use a special tool to dredge the upper hole of the injector. Use a steel wire with a diameter of 1.5mm to grind the edge (see Figure 1) to clear all the carbon deposits and dirt inside the oil inlet hole of the needle valve body.
Grind the reamer similar in shape to the oil chamber in the needle valve body (see Figure 2), and remove all carbon deposits and dirt in the oil storage chamber. If the needle valve and the needle valve body are stuck, use a special removal tool to remove the stuck needle valve (Figure 3).
Do not use pliers to pull out the needle valve, or clamp the needle valve handle on the vise to knock, to prevent some needle valves from being scrapped due to bending and knocking off the needle valve handle. For the needle valve that is not easy to disassemble with special tools, it can be put into the engine oil and heated to about 150°C, and then taken out and disassembled while it is hot.
