When starting diesel engine in winter, seasonal maintenance of fuel system should be carried out first. Under normal circumstances, the freezing point of diesel should be 3~5 ℃ lower than the seasonal minimum temperature, so as to ensure that the minimum temperature will not solidified and affect the use. Generally, in the south of the Yangtze River in winter, 0O° light diesel oil can be used; In winter in the south of the Great Wall and in severe winter in the south of the Yangtze River, -20* light diesel oil is used. In northeast, northwest and border areas with severe winter, -35° light diesel oil should be used. The production process of low condensate point diesel is complex and the price is high, so the use time of high condensate point diesel should be extended as far as possible under the condition of temperature permitting. At low temperature, when low freezing point diesel is lacking, appropriate preheating measures can be used to use high freezing point diesel.
There are two main methods of diesel preheating:
(1) exhaust gas preheating
The method of exhaust preheating is that the exhaust pipe of the engine is connected with a pipe through the tank, and the waste heat of exhaust is used to heat the diesel in the tank.
(2) Circulating water preheating
Circulating cooling water is preheated by piping it through the tank, or a sandwich tank is used with oil in the inner layer and water in the outer layer to be heated by circulating water.
The diesel preheating method is used to start with low condensate point diesel first. When the preheated diesel flows, it is replaced with high condensate point diesel.
