Identification Of The Wear Degree Of Three Major Parts Of Diesel Engine

1. Check the wear degree of the plunger pair.
When the engine is stopped, first loosen the high-pressure oil pipe from the high-pressure oil pump, remove it from the fuel injector, and turn it so that the nozzle end of the pipe is facing upward, and tighten the nut on the oil pump end. Open the throttle to put the plunger in the maximum fuel supply position, and rock the car until the oil injection at the pipe mouth stops. Then slowly turn the flywheel until the oil level at the high-pressure oil pipe mouth just fluctuates, and stop turning immediately. Blow away the diesel at the pipe mouth with your mouth, so that the oil level is 1 to 2 mm lower than the pipe mouth. Then slowly turn the flywheel, and the crankshaft starts to rotate from a standstill. The speed cannot be fast. If the plunger can continue to press oil and oil overflows from the pipe mouth, it means that the plunger pair is well sealed and can continue to be used. If you have to crank the engine or rotate the flywheel quickly to prevent oil from overflowing in the next cycle, it means that the plunger pair has been severely worn and should not be used any more. It should be replaced immediately.
2. Check the wear of the oil outlet valve pair.
When the oil level in the high-pressure oil pipe is 1 to 2 mm lower than the pipe mouth according to the above method, slowly rotate the flywheel to make the oil level at the high-pressure oil pipe mouth fluctuate. At this time, the plunger will be in the effective oil supply stroke in the sleeve. Stop immediately and reverse the flywheel. If the oil level at the pipe mouth remains unchanged, it means that the oil outlet valve seal is good and can be used continuously. On the contrary, if the oil level drops, it means that the sealing surface is leaking oil and should be replaced.
3. Check the wear of the fuel injector.
Remove the fuel injector assembly, install the high-pressure oil pipe outside the engine body, and crank the car to the fuel injector to spray oil. If the fuel injection sound is crisp, and the injection oil beam and atomization are normal, it means that the fuel injector is good and can be used continuously.
